I love this store !! The fresh tortillas and deli is outstanding. The produce and meat market is worth the stop. I have been in this store many times and I have always walked out a happy customer. It reminds me of the old fashion grocery store where there are butcher's in the meat market helping you with your fresh cuts of meat. Just reminds me of the good ole days .
A (mostly) ethnic/hispanic grocery store (likely) owned by the regional chain, Market Basket. When I last visited the Market Basket website, the store refuses to show up on any of their listings. No matter. The name of the store says it all. Plenty of vegetables, herbs, meat cuts and general grocery items to absolutely qualify as unique to the classification. Prices are competitive and the store is abundantly stocked. A bakery and meat case with specialties to cover the needs for authentic cooking. Love it! Herbs and spices are another plus of this store. Selection is very broad and at a super reasonable price. The store underwent an exterior facelift in 2009. Inside is a bit worn but, alway clean and open. You need to shop there. You will also note in the south area of Beaumont College Street, more specialty shops are appearing. Gratefully adding a splendid choice of World flavors for the adventurous cook. Hurrah!
